We rolled ours for our first trip, and it worked out fine. The only problem I had was my kids getting into the suitcases b/c we were split into two separate rooms . They mixed things up pretty badly. After leaving and starting to plan our next trip, I started hanging out on the Disboards. I learned about Ziploc bags. These, in my opinion, were way better than just rolling. I was able to put an outfit in each bag, roll it, zip it, and pack it. We took our 7 person family to WDW for 11 days with only carry-on suitcases this past May. Nothing was wrinkled, and each outfit stayed with its pieces in the bags. I will absolutely use them again. Some people use packing cubes and folders, but I couldn't justify the expense for my large family when I use coupons to get Ziplocs for free or cheap. We put socks inside shoes and ziplocs. It was a very organized trip. Good luck with whatever you decide!
