Don't forget all your extra batteries & chargers :- phone, mp3, camera charger & memory cards, video camera charger & tapes, handheld games console.

Don't panic...if you forget something you not going to be stranded in the middle of nowhere. ;)

I just sit down and go through my daily routine and write down what i use.

Thanks guys :)

there was some things on that list that i had forgotten ::yes::

If i forget something its just an excuse to hit the malls :thumbsup2

Paracetamol/Ibuprofen/Gaviscon,
Calpol/Nurofen for children(if you have children),
Anti-bac spray or gel(to carry round the parks with you),
Baby Wipes/Hand Wipes,
Nail file,
Tweezers,
Plasters,
Aftersun,
Savlon/Antiseptic Cream,
Lots of Batteries(decent makes are so expensive over there),

Thats all i can think of for now, that others have'nt said.x.

I don't usually take toiletries as I buy them in Walmart when I get there. Usually pretty cheap and can get the same shampoo as I use over here!

The only deoderant you can take on the plane is a roll-on but it must be under 100ml size, if in doubt Boots usually sell travelsize things once you've gone through departures.

Like you said, if you forget anything its a excuse to go shopping!

Have a wonderful trip! :goodvibes

thank you all so much - there was so much i had forgotten :rotfl:

gonna check out hand luggage restrictions too! :)

Hi,
Think others have covered the must haves but the best packing advice I ever got was this. Put all the clothes you plan to take on one side of the bed and all your spending money the other side. Then half the amount of clothes and double the amount of money..!

i am being ruthless with my clothes though this year, i'm not taking anywhere near as much as i usually do. I just cant hump that heavy suitcase around on a train to Gatwick! :)

Wish my DH thought like this - We're having an ongoing battle about number of t-shirts. If you run out of clothes buy more-or do a wash -most hotels have laundry facilities. Especially undies - you'd have to take loads - and horror:scared1: you don't have to iron them (For those of you that have read the Knickers/Underpants thread-don't tell my Mum:faint: )
