Our DD was 2 weeks when we took her last March. The trip wa smuch easier than we touht it would be. I did attempt breastfeeding her in the Bbay Care Centers which aside from MGM are great!!! Yet DD was a formula baby (difficulty with bf) so we brought the 2oz mix sticks and stuck them in the diaper bag. You na find these for Similac and Enfamile at
WalMart, Babies R Us, and Target. I would suggest that you bring your own formual as it isn't cheap in the parks. But it's there if you need it. Also bring your own diapers, atleast 1 big bag.
We also brought a free sample that I had of Dreft and some quarters. My SIL needed to do laundry so she washed the baby's at the same time.
Definately bring a hat, we used sunscreen. DD probably spent more time in her Snugglie front pack than her stroller. DH also spent the majority of his meals wearing her in the pack as we found this to be much more convienent, plus most resturaunts aside from Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace didn't have infant seats.
Baby swap is a wonderful thing and is very easy to use. Just like Fastpass.
If there might be a chance of rain ALWAYS cover your stroller with a poncho! We had ours parked under an overhang out of the rain at the boarding area for Rafiki's Planet Watch Train (?) and when we returned our stroller had been moved and was beyond soaked. This included all of the baby's blankets (excpet the one with us)!
Always keep a change of clothes for the baby, or atleast a new onsie, pair of socks, and a sleeper. Don' forget burp rags either.
If bottle feeding be sure to bring extra bottle liners, a bottle brush, small bottle of dish soap, and if you have it a small bottle drying rack. Ice packs are also nice.
Of course the camera and film
Enjoy this time! Our DD slept so much it was a breeze!
