Packing in ziplock baggies?

Do the clothes get wrinkled when packed in ziplock baggies? It seems to be a pretty popular idea on this board, but I've never tried it before?

I've never had trouble with wrinkles. I just make sure the lothes are completely flat, no wrinkles, before I take the air out of the bags.

I swear by this method and would never go on vacation without packing this way. It makes my life soooo much easier at Disney!

I roll some of my clothes in them, like tanks, t-shirts and they look great when unpacking, no wrinkles - but if you put heavy clothing like jeans and such on top of those, they're bound to wrinkle in the suitcase anyway.

I just got doen Friday night packing all my kids clothes in them this is the first time i've used this method and i'm really hoping that it works well. I was able to get both girls out fits in on gallon bag and then ds's in another.

I have never packed anything but liquid toiletries in zip lock bags and I travel all the time. I do, however, use dry cleaning bags for my suits, blouses, etc and they do seem to help a great deal in the no wrinkle category.

dd and i packed most of hte dgc's htinsg the other night,a bit early but decided to jumpsatrt since we were checking to see what outfits for whcih park. the kids really got into this too1 they had their sharpies and wrote their names on the jammies bags...socks/undies went in with outfits and we wrote the name of each park on the outside of the bag so thye just have to go grab thier magic kingdom/epcot etc. bag when we are getting ready in the mornings...should help alot! bathing suits/water shoes fit nicely too... seems to be a great idea to save space and keep suit cases/drawers from being topsy- truvy but now everytime the kids find soemthing n their drawes they wanna take htey eyll out " hey i needa zipper bag and a sharpie!" i think dada will be saying" nanna needs to STOP!" hehe...driving them crazy with all the cool tips from this site..thanks all....
