Do you pack enough clothes for 8 Days, or do you pack lighter and plan on doing laundry during your vacation?

I find it easier to bring less clothes, then do laundry 1/2 way thru the trip. I just pack laundry tabs, dryer sheets & a trash bag and do it either early morning, or in the evening while relaxing by the pool.

For WDW I pack enough clothes for ten days but bring laundry tabs, just in case. I also bring an army duffle bag for a laundry bag. Its nylon, folds up small and I hang it over the bathroom door and fill it with dirty laundry. I don't repack dirty clothes in the suitcases. When its time to leave, I close it up and check it as luggage.

I always try to bring enough clothes for the entire trip. Can't quite do it when we stay 9-11 days. When I am on vacation I do not want to see a kitchen or a laundry room if I can avoid it. Also, we always go in the winter so when I get home I just throw a load of whites in and don't have to deal with anything else right away.

I do laundry midway in our trip. I pack about 5 changes for each trip. I also have one of those collapsable nylon hamper thingies that I'm taking. I can just carry that to the laundry room. It's nice to not have to do 5 loads of laundry when I get home from our trips. And I usually do the laundry on a non-park night, while dh and dd relax in the room, or while we are at the pool midday.

We always do laundry halfway through the trip. It honestly provides some nice quiet time.

This is something I need to consider. Then again, do I really want to do laundry on my honeymoon? :scratchin

Definitely, we bring half of the clothes and do laundry once on the down day. Sometimes a little less than half because we always end up buying clothes while we are there.

I think on our trip last year I did laundry twice-we were there 10 days and 2 days of traveling. I'm doing it again this year, as we'll actually be away from home for at least 14 days! I never mind it, I usually put the laundry in and relax by the pool.

Collapsable hamper thingy :earsboy: can be purchased in many places. I got ours at Walmart, but I have seen them at Target,Meijer and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
I always take an afternoon to let the kids swim with DH while I do the Laundry. I have always found laundry relaxing so it is no big deal to do it during down time. With 6 of us going, we would have to take way to much stuff if we didn't do it.

We're doing eight days, six changes of clothing each, carryons only (no checked luggage) and I'll do laundry halfway through on our non-park day.

For 8 days, I bring 5 days worth of clothing then do laundry.

Take half the clothes you think you'll need, and twice the money you think you'll need

I dont usually do laundry on vacation but the most we've been at WDW so far has been 9 nights.
This Aug DS13 & I are taking our first ever two week vacation. Im planning on doing laundry at least once, maybe twice.

I always bring more than enough clothes!!!! Oh, that's just me and my you-never-know mentality. Plus, my tank tops don't take up much room and this year I'm going with far lighter shoes. This trip I plan to do laundry because it makes sense...if we have down time and I feel like.

I'm going for 8 days and packing enough for 10. I don't want to do laundry but I'm bringing Tide along because the way I spill stuff on me I'll probably have to.

We do laundry every trip, but we stay at a condo/rental house. Very easy, just throw laundry in the washer before we leave in the morning, and toss it in the dryer when we break for the afternoon. We come home with clean clothes:) And we can pack much less and wear our favorite stuff over again if we want. Much easier in colder weather when you wear everything from shorts to pants in one week. Only pack a few things of each instead of a weeks worth. I swear one of my favorite things about the condos is the in room washer/dryer!

I pack lighter and plan on doing laundry, but still have too many clothes with me. We are DVC members and usually have a washer/dryer in our suite, but I like to have choices. The weather can change in Orlando, and I like to have something nicer to wear if we go to the Boardwalk or CG for dinner. :earsgirl:
