Packing for 6 people secretely is HARD!

Don't get me wrong, I can do it. It's just hard. I was hoping to get away with just 2 suitcases between us, but NOPE. We have two suitcases, each with a smaller suitcase inside so we'd have 4 to come home with but I'm going to have to split one set up. The one suitcase I've completely packed with all the kids stuff weighs 30 kgs, so too heavy. And the other suitcase is for just mine and dh's stuff and it's already full with just my stuff No room for his at all. So 3 suitcases it is for us. I've also packed one of those red white and blue striped bags to chuck any old dirty clothes into to bring home if we buy too much new stuff (I'm hoping we will).

I have all the new socks and undies in the dryer now so I'll pack all them as soon as it's finished.

I had my hair straightened with Keratin so it should last about 4 months, it feels so silky smoothe but probably still can't compete with all that lovely, dead straight Mexican hair. I'm always so jealous of that gorgeous hair.

Still need to get my toenails done.

You're optimistic! I thought squeezing in 5 people's stuff in 2 suitcases within 2 suitcases was hard enough. Can't imagine where the stuff for the 6th person would fit!!! And our fifth person has tiny clothes too that doesn't take up much space!

you can do it we had 3 suitcases with suitcases inside each other and we ended up bringing home 12 Have a fantastic trip and cant wait to hear the kids reaction you have done amazingly well to keep the surprise ive only been doing it for 6 weeks and i am soooo struggling to keep my mouth shut 238 days to go

I certainly don't envy you!! I only ever have to hide my packing from my dog.....she hates suitcases and goes all quiet!! (I guess they all do!)
But remember - put out what you think you'll need, and then halve it!!! I never follow my own advice, though, and always come home with something that is not worn! I'm learning though! (You'd think after 25 years of travelling I'd have it down pat - but no!!! )
