I'm making costumes for our trip in Oct. What's the best way to get them down there? Since I'm making them, they are a little more elaborate than the typical store bought kind.

Don't really want to carry-on since I want to keep an eye on the kids...
Worried about checking them because of the search messing them up...
Afraid if I ship them, they won't get there in time...

What should I do? :confused3

I am having the same issue here! We're heading down there for Halloween and I'm trying to think of easy things that the kiddos will like and that will be simple to pack.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! :)

I did easy costumes for my DD16 and her friend.

I got black shorts with a white t shirt that I used fabric paint on for spots. White caps that I sewed floppy ears on(felt) also with the fabric paints for spots and to top it off, red dog collars :flower:

Will be easy to get on and off rides and nice and cool for Oct 31st. :Pinkbounc

What my friend and I did with ours was packed them in their garment stroage bags and just folded them in half and placed on top of other clothes in our check luggage. Once in room at WDW we hung them up on rack.
WE never had problem and both of ours were dressy type. I also did this with my bridesmaid dress when I flew to vegas for friend's wedding.

If you really want to, you can mail the package to your hotel a few days before you leave, so that it's there when you get there.

My problem is trying to convince my kids that their costumes have to be ride-friendly!
