Packing Apps

Do any of you use packing apps for packing for your cruise? What do you use and do you like it?

The other day, I got Packing Pro but am having some technical difficulties with it. It's probably user error but I need to research the problem and play with it more. I emailed tech support so hopefully they can help me. For a nine day vacation, the app seems to be adding a quantity of 9 to everything, I change it to the amount I want but when I go out of the app, it adjusts some of the quantities back. I really don't need 9 pairs of walking shoes and 9 pairs of dress shoes.

I didn't even know there were apps for this! Ijust make a list on Excel and then modify it each time we travel. Easy peasy for me. And likely better since most packing lists would have us needing to bring about 3 steamer trunks per person anyway.

I use Google Keep. I use it for all kinds of things, grocery shopping, books to read, movies to see and my packing lists. I can also share the list with my husband so we can both add to it. I started with a spreadsheet and then I moved it to Google Keep

We use Wunderlist for both packing and groceries. My husband and I can both ad to the lists from our phones. Works great for us!

I have been using Packing Pro for 7 years and I like it. You can create different packing lists for various trips (i.e. cruises, WDW, weekend trip, etc.), take pictures of each of the items you pack, add notes, etc. I hope you can work through the issues you are having with it. Good luck.

That's exactly what we do. Actually I just use my Disney packing spreadsheet with a few modifications (bring the passports, boarding info, etc.)

I use Evernote for my packing lists. Someone else mentioned Wunderlist and it's good, too. I use it for grocery lists, but I haven't tried it for packing. I have some existing lists in Evernote and it's just easier to reuse and edit them then try to move them over to Wunderlist.

So I assume you aren’t having problems with the quantities changing themselves? I’m getting kinda tired of changing quantities back.

I emailed tech support several days ago and haven’t heard a thing from them.

I've never had any problems at all.
