Packing acetone and rubbing alcohol in checked?

While in venice I got a huge blister and had to buy some alcohol to disinfect a pin so I could pop it. Also, my nail Polish looked awful so I bought some acetone. Can I pack these and take them home? Anyone know?

With 3 teens and a type 1 diabetic DH, I have a whole med kit packed. I have alcohol swabs for his injection sites but I bought those small travel bottles from the dollar store which I have labelled and filled with various liquids ( peroxide, calamine, etc)

I suppose you could, but why would you take the chance of their leaking and ruining everything else in your luggage? What are we talking: a few dollars?

For what little they cost, why take the chance of having a issue with Airport security?

Both rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover come in single use foil sealed pads. I would take these over the bottles.
