Hello Every one

So im planning for our next trip

I have had a look on alot of sites for the package holiday to disney

we want to go for two weeks stay on site and we dont want a car so can you help me where you have had luck

Travel city direct seem to be quiet expensive to me

Hi Tinks

We got the best deal for this year booking via Disney's UK site for accommodation and tickets - they have a free nights deal at the moment and a 14 for 7 nights offer on the Unlimited passes - we got our flight by searching on Expedia. The DDP also works out better buying from the Uk site as opposed to buying direct with Disney in the US due to the exchange rate at the moment. If you are planning to go August/September however, if it was me I would be waiting to see what Disney in the US brings out in terms of free dining before buying my tickets and accommodation. Of course as you plan to stay on site you have Magical Express to take you to your hotel if you fly into MCO (but not into Sanford)

yes we booked disney direct and flights via virgin atlantic direct paying £2100 for two of us 15 days with tickets and free dining cant wait

We arent planing on going until early december late january

so do you think we should wait and see what they have to offer later in the year then

i am sooooooooooooooo jealous of people having free dining

i'm not sure that disney us will offer free dining for that time of year.

Virign holidays had a good offer for pop last year for jan this year but it came out quite late like nove last year for jan this year

Hi Tinks, early Dec or Jan (once the Christmas holidays are over and excluding Marin Luther King weekend) is value season so its the lowest rates, we got really low rates last year when we booked ours :thumbsup2

Yeah we wanted to go low season because we want to be able to stay on site and pay for dining

I can not find just flight for virgin only fly drives and they seem to be VERY expensive

Flights are released 11 months before - I would wait for a flight sale we paid £295.00 return each with virgin in the flight sale a couple of weeks ago:thumbsup2

I haven't done this myself but have heard of others taking online quotes round to local travel agencies and seeing if any of them can beat it and often they will. I booked through VH for Florida in 2007 but since then have DIYed all my holidays as it's always worked out cheaper for the type of trips we've done.

This is exactly what I did. I took a price from the Thomas Cook website and went round a few travel agents telling them to beat it. I managed to get over £1000 knocked off before I hit the floor and no-one could beat the price any longer.

Funnily enough, it's still with Thomas Cook! I got 2 weeks at POP for 3 of us in October including transfers and deluxe travel insurance for just over 2k.

It's worth it. All this I did in one day btw, it's not a long process at all.

Ive been thinking and we might stay on site for one week and one week off

renting a car just for the last week

but then the reason we were goin for two weeks in low season was so we could afford to buy disney dining delux and not have to worry about rushing to the park every day

but thank you gemmybear83 i might wait for the flights

i just get sooo excited i want to book and plan plan plan lol

I know the feeling :rotfl2: we are thinking of doing 1 week in Nov with deluxe dining - we love signature restaurants! Virgin and BA seem to have some good flight prices for Nov as do Continental (which use Virgin planes anyway) so worth keeping an eye on. May be worth seeing if the US offer free dining though?

I found a flydrive for 2 weeks to go on thursday for the both of us £430

i dont think i could be brave enough to leave it that late though lol
