Packages with Costco

Just to give you all the heads up, I just got off the phone with Costco Travel and they have the same rates as the special going on now with Disney. But the max nights you can book is 4 with their packages.

Ah, no wonder I was getting "no availability" when trying to book 5 nights. I wonder why they only allow 4 night?

No clue bummer though, but our's is coming out the exact same price as thru disneyland.com if I added a room only night.

You can also book the fifth night thru a totally different source usually cheaper and if you call the hotel directly they will connect the reservations. At least when I have done this it works.

I'm on hold with Costco now and I guess I'll do the same thing. Hopefully they will let me keep the same room but if not, it won't be the end of the world to move my stuff.

Thak you so much for posting this. We were booked 7 nights at the BW PPI through Costco in December, but really wanted to stay at a Disney hotel. I just couldn't see paying the $1000 difference. I called today and we were able to book the PP for $400 more than the BW and still keep the character meal and gift card.


I had to make 2 reservations. A 4 night package with 6 day park hoppers and then the 3 night hotel only reservation. The CM said she would link our reservations together and note we did not want to transfer rooms in the middle of our stay. It seems so silly to do it this way, but you gotta do what you gotta do... We are coming from Pennsylvania so a 4 night stay would not be long enough for us since it takes almost a whole day to get there and almost a whole day to get back home.

Thanks again you made our day here!! The kids are so excited to stay at the Paradise Pier instead of the Best Western.

ktkerber- How did you get them to book you for hotel only? Costco told me they could only do packages..?

I already had a Costco package booked. I called WDTC directly and asked them to change the package I already had booked and then make a separate hotel only reservation.

Yeah, I agree the Paradises Pier is so much better than the Best Western.
