Packages at Disneyland??

I am doing research for our possible 2002 trip to Disneyland and Southern California -- Hooray! From traveling to WDW I know that WDW packages are generally a poor value. However, I researched the Disneyland packages just to confirm this was the same for DL. It looks like the package is the better deal for DL! The total package price for three days, three nights at DL/DCA, staying at Best Western Park Place, is $543. The price everything priced separately appears to be at least $100 more -- even using my AAA discount. Have you found the DL vacation packages to be a good value?

Funny you should ask this question...while I generally do not thing WDW packages are "worth it," so-to-speak, I really do believe that the DL packages either break-even or are worth more than what is paid.

I have used them several times (thru Disney Club and the former Magic Kingdom Club), and really like it. It's reasonably priced, and convenient. I used it at Best Western Stovall's Inn (which, btw, I would NOT recommend), Howard Johnsons, and most recently at the Grand Californian. I was mostly impressed with my recent stay, they sent me a neat little packet with my tickets, breakfast vouchers, a couple of luggage tags, and all the documentation.

If it at least breaks even, and you don't mind having it paid off 30 days in advance (which I personally think is great, no worries when you get there), I would say go for it!

I just couldn't believe the packages were more reasonable! I would love to do a package and have it paid off a month before we go.

The DL pkgs are a great deal! yiu can get an even better deal thru getawaytoday.com!!! You can call them or purchase online..we called and gat great service and a great rate!! Better prices than DC!!!
