Package vs room only - and dining - deadline questions

Trying to get these time frames clear in my head -- any help would be MOST appreciated!

Payments: final payment is due on a package 45 days before check-in, and for room only, you pay your balance in full at check-in?

Cancellations: cancellation deadlines (without forfeiting your deposit of incurring any fees) are: 30 days before check-in for a package and 5 days before check-in with RO?

What do you pay/lose if you cancel a package less than 30 days out?

Dining: What is the latest/last date you can add dining to your package or even to your RO reservation?

Can you decide at the last minute (even at check-in?) to add dining and pay just that amount at check-in (if you have a room and ticket package that is already paid in full)? Is there a time frame before you check-in where you can only add dining?

Payment: Final payment on a package is due 30 days prior to check-in. RO, balance is due at check-in.

Cancellations: you are correct

If you cancel a package between 29 - 2 days prior to check-in, you lose $200. If you cancel 1 day before, you lose everything. Best thing to do is re-schedule the trip so you don't lose anything. You may incur a $50 change fee if you do that, but if your new package is the same or more than the old one, they usually waive that fee.

Adding dining - I believe the latest you can add is 3 days before, but someone may have better info than I do.

You cannot add dining at check-in.

You are correct on the RO balance, which is due at check in. Balance on a package, however, is now 30 days prior to arrival.

If you cancel less than 30 days but at least 2 days prior to arrival, you will forfeit the $200 deposit. If you cancel 1 day before arrival, the full package price is forfeited.

You cannot add dining at check in. Dining must be added no later than 3 days (72 hrs) prior to arrival. Also, dining can only be added to an existing package. If you have RO and want to change to a package, it's not as simple as just adding it on. The RO will have to be cancelled/refunded and a package booked, requiring a new $200 deposit (or payment in full if you are less than 30 days from arrival). Since RO and packages are different reservation systems, money paid toward one cannot be applied to the other.
