I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to ask but here goes....

How do you get your money's worth??

I'm thinking about the Gold Plan for late Jan 2003. Are all restaraunts included? Appetizers, desserts?

What about the Pirate's Cruise, Alice's Tea Party?

Any hints and experiences would be a great help!

Hi! We stayed on this plan this August, when it was called Deluxe Magic. We love the freedom, of being able to order whatever we wanted, wherever we wanted (except V&A's), and yes, appetizer, entree, dessert, and 2 non-alcoholic drinks are included. I think that the only way to really get your money out of this package, though, is if you not only eat three FULL meals a day, but also do quite a few recreational activities like the parasailing or horseback riding. We found ourselves eating just to "get our money's worth" and it was really way, way too much food! We would have been just as happy with the Discovery magic (Silver plan) package, with only 2 meals a day, if it weren't for the parasailing that we did. That was $461 for 1/2 hour, so being on plan definitely saved us $$ there.
Especially since we were staying concierge (first at WL then at GF), so were able to get a light breakfast there and would have been just as happy to only eat there, and then have a bigger lunch & dinner. I definitely think that it's a food overload to eat that many meals a day, with those Disney sized portions
