Can you only get preferred seating for shows with a package? Which shows have preferred seating and do you need it during a quiet time like early February? Is it worth getting a package for?

\PS only comes in packages. I would not think you would need it during Feb, you really do not need it at other times, just depends on where you want to sit. It just gets you in earlier for seating opposed to waiting for the GP. Do not remember what shows, but Aladdin does go away on August 15th.

Other shows are Muppets 3D, It's Tough to Be a Bug, and Drawn to Animation.

Personally, the only show that I think preferred seating would be nice would be Aladdin, and like blackjackdelta said, that is going away in August.

There was a DISer that reported last summer that the WDTC (Walt Disney Travel Company) in DTD was selling the perks package (the perks that you get for buying a vacation package) in the DTD offices behind the bookstore I believe, for something like $10. The package came with the preferred seating tickets and a lanyard and pin.

I myself was actually curious to see if this was still being offered, as we will be there in June, but no one could confirm. Might be something looking into though if you are really that interested. :thumbsup2

We're going in 6 weeks and will probably check this out. I think it'd be totally worth it for $10/person. I'll report back as soon as we get back.

I remember that thread too. :) A lot of the people who were interested in getting those additonal things wanted the perks mainly for the Toontown Madness vouchers and the preferred seating for Aladdin. I posted that I was going to attempt to go to WDTC to see if I could get the package, but I ended up not needing to go there because I received the toontown vouchers from another Dis'er. :)

Please report back! :worship: I would love to know if they are available!

That is the main reason I was wanting them. I am on both of the lists of the DIS to get tickets, but they haven't been moving very quickly. I have never actually taken my boys to the TTMM and I know they would adore it!

What's replacing Aladdin?

A Toy Story Musical is replacing Aladdin and should be coming out sometime next year.
