Package price now $500 cheaper????

Not sure what to do. I was on the Disney website checking out whether free dining was still available at our resort for our September stay (trying to gauge response to promotion) and when I ran all of my exact reservation information the package quote came up almost $500 cheaper! On a reservation that is almost $6000, this is a significant savings. Why would this be? Is there anything I can do to get the lower rate?

Now now, on some of the bargain shopping websites I frequent, they would yell at you for telling someone to call the "store" about an online price mistake. They would recommend trying to get the deal, make sure to print out copies of all the information, even saving screen captures. Then if it does get changed raise heck until they either give you what you bought or get compensated for your time and trouble.

Now really, I agree. Call and see if they can get you into that $500 cheaper package.

Are you sure everything is EXACTLY the same? Maybe the park tickets are not hoppers or don't include the waterparks? Just something that is easily overlooked that may make the difference. If it is exactly the same, I'd say book it and cancel the existing package, making sure to print copies for your records.
