Package pickup

As a WDW vet I always stayed on property and never had to worry about buying something and caring it around the parks with us. Now that we are going to DL and staying at HOJO how does that work? Do they allot package pick up at the end of the night like at DW or do we buy it and carry it around with us all day. TIA Sonya

No, there is no package delivery to Good Neighbor hotels. It used to be that you could send a package to the front of the park and pick it up on your way out at night, but I don't know if they still do that or not. Otherwise, you could get a locker and put your packages in there while you're in the park.

They don't deliver packages to good neighbor hotels, but you don't have to rent a locker or carry your stuff around with you all day. You can check your packages at the Newstand at the front of the park and pick them up before park closing. Also, you can check your packages at EnginEars Toys in DCA. There may be other locations where you can check packages, but these are the two I can think of and have used before. You do have to remember to pick your stuff up before you leave for the day, but it beats schlepping it all around in the park all day.

All Disneyland Resort Gift Shops will be happy to send your purchases to one of the three Hotels of the Disneyland Resort as well as arrange home shipping for a minimal fee.

Package Check services are also available at the Disneyland Resort, allowing you to drop off purchases and pick them up at a later time. However, unlike at the Walt Disney World Resort, you must deliver your package to a designated location - your purchases can not be delivered to the locations for you. On the other hand, this also avoids the traditional three-hour wait normally experienced when using this service at the Walt Disney World Resort.

When using the Package Check service, please retreive your purchases from the same location you checked them at.
