Hey all,

We will be heading to Disney April 4th - 15th, 2007. There will be three of us, me, my boyfriend and his 15 yo dd. We plan to stay at Disney the entire time even though out flight does not get into Orlando until 11:30 pm. Should we go with a package or book room and tickets seperately. We have CAA. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Also - when is a good time to book? And- any idea what the crowds will be like? It will be Easter week. We were there 3 years ago so we won't have to see "everything!"

TIA!

Easter is supposed to by one of the busiest times but I have never been there than.

I have always done better booking the individual parts of the trips as opposed to packages but I would investigate both options. With a 15 year old you might want to inviestgate the meal plan and a package.

CAA is a the best I found for tickets, particulary if you can get 2007 tickets at 2006 prices. I have been able to do better than their room only rates but many I know have done well with a package from CAA.

You might also look into renting DVC points as an option as well.

I spent 4 years on the rock with work, St John's specifically. Can't wait to go back for a visit.

What I would do is do ROOM ONLY on the day you arrive (April 4) and the day before you leave (April 14) as you would be unable to use the tickets those days flying. If you have the package for 4-15, the night you arrive and day you leave you are paying for the tickets and unable to use. The other days do the package. Your tickets would be good up until midnight April 14. You would have 3 reservations - check in April 4 out 5, check in 5-14, check in 14 out 15. Ask that the reservations be continuous when you make the reservations and at CHECK IN. Otherwise you might have to change rooms. You just have to go and check in and out at the front desk on those days. When you book room only ask for the CAA discount (if you have it), if it is available. You can only get the CAA discount on room only not of packages.

The dining option is worth the money. Just make your reservations ahead as most people are taking this option.
