Package Limitation?

Ok experts - need some help...I booked a package for Poly which is from 12/5 - 12/12. I originally wanted 12/5 - 12/13 but it shows as not being available. However, if I book a room only for 12/13 - 12/14 - it is available (same garden view). I called and GS said that this is because I'm checking in on a Friday and you can only book 7 nights? They are saying I can book 8 nights if I change my dates. I don't get this because the GF IS available from 12/5 - 12/13. Wouldn't this show as not being available if that package limitation (7 nights) was true? Anyone else experience this?

I'm considering either buying the one additional night at the Poly separately or booking GF (I started a separate thread on that).
