I heard that DVC is now charging a fee for holding packages sent to the villas before a guest arrives - is that true? We're taking an infant and toddler in December and I was planning on shipping a box of diapers, wipes, etc. to the resort a week before we are to arrive to avoid having to check extra luggage (and so I'd be able to check something off my list!). Does anyone know if they are charging a fee, and if so, how much it is per day or per package? Thanks!

We were at SSR in January and shipped a package to ourselves there. The package arrived UPS a few days before we did, so the resort held it for us until we arrived. We just told them that we had a package when we arrived and Bell Services retrieved it for us from their holding area. They did not charge us a fee for holding the package.

I am not entirely sure, but I think that the package fees are for business services. Someone else may be able to clarify that a little better.

They have implemented a fee to receive packages for guests prior to check in. You will find more information on this topic over on our Resorts Board. thank you! :)

Why not just have your items delivered by wegoshop or garden grocer. wegoshop will buy your specific items from your choice of store (ex: walmart) and she'll use coupons. The fee is not much more than the cost to ship
