Package discount question

Over at mousesavers.com, it has the info about the Fall Vacation Package Promotion. It says the discounted packages are for people checking in on certain dates. Of the dates included, there is the group of Dec. 8 - 23rd. I check in on December 7th. Does that count me out?

I would have to say Yes, Counts you out.
I looked, it says checkin dates of, Dec. 8 - 23rd

Remember that you can always modify and split your stay to be able to take advantage of the code - book the 12/7 night as one night res, then the rest of your stay (from 12/8 - on) as a second res with the code applied

Of course, you have to make sure that you would be saving $$$ before doing this though!

I would call Disney and give it a try. I am also going during the blackout period. Nov 29-Dec 8. We were supposed to be staying at Pop, but there was no availability for the package discount. They upgraded us to CSR for a little more than Pop. We saved $517 over the normal moderate package price. I thought we were out of luck too, but several people on the Codes board also called over the last few days were able to get some kind of discount during the blackout days. So I had my TA call. She really didn't want to. She said the discount didn't apply to our dates. I told her they were getting it here on the Dis and she skeptically and rather arrogantly said "Well I'll call, but your dates don't apply." We got the discount anyway.
