package deals?

Hi, folks!

I'm a newcomer here. We have been to WDW before about 5 years ago and got great deals on airfare (free with our ff miles), and a great price on the hotel. But things have changed. We don't have any points, ff miles, etc to use. We want to go back to WDW around the Christmas season, I understand the week after Thanksgiving is best for low crowds, lower prices, cooler weather.

I don't understand how these packages work. Does WDW offer some kind of package that includes meals? How about AAA, do they have good, all-inclusive packages? How about other package deals, how do you find them?

I'd like something that includes airfare, hotel, park tickets and meals. Also, we definitely want a hotel on the monorail, either one of the three. We consider it best for getting around.

So, anyone have ideas how to go about planning a champagne trip on a beer budget? Thanks!

There is the Disney package and then you can add various discount codes if they are available. So, if you book with AAA they are booking the same package you'd get by calling Disney direct, but with the AAA discount.

As of right now, Disney hasn't released any codes to the general public for that time of year, just the AAA discount.

There's no advantage to having Disney book your air, it's not discounted.

You can add a dining plan to your package, you will want to make dining reservations 180 days prior.

I don't know this for a fact, but when I booked my last trip a couple of weeks ago, the CM told me that Disney buys airline tickets in bulk and it is discounted. I priced the package online with the airfare and the price for a flight on Delta was exactly the same as my internet special with Southwest, so I think there was a discount.
