Package deal vs. Separate

We are planning a trip in May or early June(I know, kind of late to plan now). It will be myself, my DH and DD(3 1/2). As nice as the package deals look(looked through Dreams Unlimited), I'm not sure there is any reason we need the little add-ons they have. I just got my Disney Visa, so I am going to look into the 7 for 4 deal, but if that doesn't work out, I am thinking of booking the room and tickets separately. I plan on using the current code with the Visa for the room and get the hoppers through Hotwire(as well as the food vouchers). Is there any other reason to book a package except for the little extras?

Also, on a side note, my dd is not a huge eater. We plan on eating breakfast in our room and just lunch and dinner out. From what I understand, you can share at most places, so I figured I would just get 4 Q&C vouchers per day and share with my dd. Does that sound like an option?

Thanks for any help.

I view packages to be more of a convenience rather than price savers. There are some instances (like the 7 for 4), where it is more cost-effective to book a package but that's the exception, not the rule. Most people who book packages like the fact that everything is taken care of with a minumum of effort. There's one check to write and you're done. Booking separately willalmost always save you money.

4 Q&C's should be more than enough for your family. Wait until it is closer to your trip (within 90 days of your return date) and then order them. That way, if there are any leftovers, you can return them for a refund.
