Package Component Expiration

For the premium and platinum packages the brochure says that meal credits expire at midnight of your check out day.

Does anyone know if this is true for the other components of the package, such as tours, boat rentals, etc?

We currently have 8 nights booked on the plat. package and are wondering if we shouldn't just end it at 7 nights and book 1 night room only. We plan on leaving for home in the afternoon of the 9th day, but would like to still do activities on the package on the 9th day (check out day), all day.

I would guess that it all expires midnight the day you check out.

I'd call Disney to make sure.

That is what you should do because it would be impossible to benefit from the Plat or Prem plan on you day of checkout. I even thought of not doing the plan of the first day either. Do a room only the first day, check in bright and early the 2nd day and do the reverse in the end. You might even get a room only discount:cool1:

Thank you.

We're arriving on my husband's birthday, and early in the day. I thought we could actually make use of it for the first day.

It's the last day that we won't make much use of it, but still want to be able to use the components on the day we check out.

I will give them a call and will post when I find out.

Thanks everyone.

I verified that all components of the package expire at midnight of check out day.

I spoke with 2 different reps, one being the platinum planner for the CR, and he suggested we do cut off one day at the end of the package and go room only.
