Hey everyone, we will be in WDW beginning April 23rd and have requested a pack n play. Has anyone ever had problems actually getting one? Like them running out? Also, if you requested it at the time you booked, do they automatically have one ready for you in the room, or do you still need to ask when you check in to get it?

My DD is only 2 and can only sleep in cribs/pack n plays, so I just dont know what I would do if they didn't have any! :scared1: Rent a car and go buy one or something I guess!!

IIRC, they are already in the closet. At least they have been in all the Disney resorts I've stayed in!

If it were me, I'd bring an extra set of sheets and a small blanket from home, just to make it more comfy!

Just so you know, the dvc rooms are the only ones that have pack n plays in each room. For normal rooms housekeeping drops it off. I can't comment on availability because we've only requested it once this past January, but they did deliver it very promptly. They include a sheet for the pnp as well. I would think they would have enough on site though.

On all three of our trips we have had no problem getting a crib for our room. At the Poly we were given a white metal crib. Looked new and clean. They do privide a sheet over the mattress, but i brought my own crib sheet and blanket to use.

I didn't know I could request one for free, so I didn't at first. Once we got there and had to take turns taking care of DS (the carpet was too rough to put him on the floor and we were afraid he would fall off the bed) I decided to call for one. They brought it immediately and that's when I learned it was free :cool1:

I forgot to add that it has differed on each trip. It has already been in our room set up and ready to go, and we have also had to call down to ask for it. It was promptly delivered, no problems. I wouldn't worry!

Oh man, I hope we don't get one of the cribs with the metal bars! We had to use one of those a a few months ago and she could nearly climb out of it because the mattress sat so much higher than the bottom of the pack n play would. When I called and asked that specific thing, they said that they have almost exclusively pack n plays though so keeping my fingers crossed!

And definitely will be bringing her pnp sheet and her normal blankets so it feels more like home.

Thanks for the info everyone! Hopefully there wont be any trouble getting one!

We haven´t had a problem. But we take our own accessories, like the MamaDoo Kids foldable mattress topper and a playard sheet. If they don´t have one for you you can place the mattress topper on the floor as it can be used as a "nap mat". We have done it twice. Good luck!

We need 2 and we have always received them. We went 3 times last year and while I requested 3 times, they were never in the room on our arrival. Housekeeping will bring them quickly when you call and ask.
