Hey, anyone know if the pack-n-plays that they have in the rooms have the snaps for the bassinet portion? We have 2 2-month olds going on a trip next week to HH (first time there!).

Thanks,

Jim

We have used the pak-n-plays on each of our last 3 visits and they are a standard Graco model pak-n-play, we have never used a bassinet in them so I wouldn't be looking for the clips, but looked to be exactly like the one that we have at home and it doesn't have any clips, and in thinking back I really didn't remember seeing any clips. They do come w/ the pad that folds out and one had the fitted pad sheet with it and the other 2 did not, only a regular sheet that fit very poorly around the pad, difficult to get it to not bunch up, wrinke, etc..., again, I could be wrong about the clips as I really wasn't looking for them. If someone is at a resort right now they could just pull out the pak-n-play out of their closet and look for the clips, where are they located inside of the pak-n-play? Good luck!

The bassinet unit we have is one that sort of suspends in the pack-n-play. Long metal bars have little inserts that snap into the corners along the long side, and the short sides of the bassinet have flaps that snap down onto the ends. So the cot itself should have little slits/holes in the plastic of the corner pieces, as well as snaps on the outside of the shorter ends. I *think* they also plainly say "Bassinet" on the pack-n-play themselves (at least ours does).

The Pac n plays are the standard models. Recently when I was changing a ressie I mentioned one the children isn't even born yet. The CM suggested a full size crib for a newborn. I have never seen a full size crib at BWV. I don't know if it has bumper pads etc. But I figured it will be easier to ask them to take it away if it doesn't work out than to ask for it once we get there.

Not sure about DVC, but the AKL ones are the standard ones that we saw at 2 different non-Disney hotels this weekend. They do not have the bassinet attachment.

I don't think you need the bassinet part for them to sleep safely, do you? I don't remember much from when mine was 2 month old! I was in a sleep deprived fog most of the time :)

I hope you can figure out a good solution!
