We will have our 8 month old grandson on our next trip, in May. 🄰. Has anyone used the pack and plays that the resort provides? Did your baby sleep well in these? I wonder how comfortable they are. I spoke to Member Services yesterday and requested a roll away crib and was told they have been discontinued and are no longer available. Would love to hear from those of you that have had experience staying with an infant. Suggestions welcomed. If we use the pack and play, I will bring my own sheets.

Pack and Play should be in the room or can be requested don't think Cribs are available.

I am also curious about the comfort of these for a two year old!

I suppose they could fit in it but don't think it would be very comfortable for them if they are used to a real bed that isn't so hard. I would get extra blankets and just make a bed on the ground for a 2 Year Old (even the couch just get an extra set of sheets to cover it).

I traveled last fall with a just turned 2YO and 6MO at AKV in both a 2BR and 1BR during my stay.

Did the two year old sleep in an actual bed or did you the couch idea? I am thinking the pull down bed under the tv would be great for a two year old but not sure what to do at a resort like AKV that doesn’t offer this.

sorry for getting this thread off topic...

At AKV there is a chair pullout in the 1BR that she slept in and in the 2BR she had her own bed to sleep in.

If I were in a studio/hotel room I would look to put blankets on the ground if you had to many bodies.

We rented a full size crib from Kingdom Strollers. They delivered it to Kidani and bell services rolled it up and set it up. It came with sheets and bumpers. It worked out well. The day of check out we called bell services to pick it up. Just remember to tip them well!

Both my grandchildren slept in p&p until around age 3 when visiting in our home and at Disney and at hotels. No problem with not sleeping.

Are the cribs nice, comfy? What made you decide to do this? Did you have a bad experience with pack and plays?

The cribs appeared to be comfortable. It was basic, a folding type of crib, but my 2 year old grandson slept well in it. We went with the full size crib because he was too big for a pack n play and his parents didn't want him to sleep in a bed.

My granddaughter slept in a pack and play when she came to our house well past the age of 1. No issues.

We got a padded pack and play sheet for our kid. It isn’t passed so much that it is dangerous but helps it be more comfortable.

You may need to request a pack and play when you arrive. Along with vacuums, they also appear to be missing from the closet.

I am shocked they include these, which are dangerous. I hope you didn't use them.

We did it twice with our youngest. Once when he was just about 5 months and again around one and a half. While we have a pack and play at home, our kids didn't really use it; but had no issues sleeping in the one at Disney. The one in Disney was also much smaller than the one we had at home.

I would also recommend squishing it in-between the beds or stroller or something. Our kid almost tipped it over at one point. They do provide a sheet, but you can bring your own as well. Otherwise the ones we got were a little grimy, we spent a good amount of time wiping them down both times.
