Just back from WDW, (yea me,) and my daughter (11) says she needs a new camera as her old easy share is shot. I agree and am tired of sharing my D80 so am looking for one for Christmas.

She wants PINK! Any suggestions between the Casio exilim and the Sony cyber-shot. I am leaning Casio, since it uses SD as opposed to memory stick, but any one else have thoughts?

I know they both stink, but she is 11.

Thanks

I think that as long as you know what there limits are there is nothing wrong with these cameras the first one I had was a casio exilim and have since bought one for my mother and she loves it.
these are all taken with a casio a few years back

I have to admit that it shows its weakness in low light and nights which is one reason i went to an SLR but they are a good camera and would think a fine camera for an 11 yr old

Nikon has an L-something(11 or 15 maybe) that comes in pink. It uses SD but has no viewfinder. My DD13- has an L6- takes nice photos.
