Olympus T820 is fantastic! It is waterproof, crush proof, you can drop it, drive over it, etc! Has HD 1080 video with sound. I love recording and taking pics in the waterparks, pools, etc! Research it and see what you think.

I got it for $99 on Amazon right before our trip and love it. I am still learning how to use the features on it but found it easy to use and the pictures are great.

My cameras an older model but I love it! I hate a fugi finepix s1000. It takes aseweome night photos, great distance photos (i stood on the dock and get pictures of far away boat), quick recall and the best part (for us shooters who tend to hang out in nature) it takes AA bateries!!! I bought a set of recharables and only have to change them once a month (daily shooter here)! It also has a manual mode if you want to experment!

I love my new Nokia Lumia 920 - and yes I know it is a windows phone, BUT the camera is great. If you really want to carry both a camera and a phone then the Sony T models are fun and fast. I have yet to find an underwater camera that is fast.
