P & J take out, how many tables are in the area?

I seem to recall 2 or 3 fixed tables outside of P & J. Are there any others? Maybe by the beach or playground? We are planning a trip for 12 and was thinking we could get several of the chicken meal packs. Feed the whole crowd for $80 and get a nice boat ride too.

But we need seating. Can't take it back to room, because our DS will only have a studio at BLT. The rest will be staying at SSR. If it's raining, we would just forget the idea, but I can't think of anywhere else, aside from the fort, that we can gather to eat the meal. Am I missing something?

My DH and I have taken the boat over, gotten the meal and taken it back on the boat to eat in our room, but never really noticed how much seating there is in the area.

It stumped me too. I had to look it up.

P & J’s Southern Takeout is the counter service side of Trail’s End at Fort Wilderness.

Ah, gotcha. No wonder I had no clue. I've never camped at Disney. :)

been awhile since we did this but there were tables near the dock besides the few near P & J but if you are planning be prepared for others to the same idea

Yes, that's why I'm concerned. From the times of getting the meal ourselves or going to Trails End, I don't remember lots of people sitting there eating. And I was thinking there was a table or two by the play ground and the few by the restaurant, if there were a few more in the area, we should find a spot. Thank you.

I don't remember any tables near the playground but we didn't use that plaugound as there was one closer to our site. another question were you planning this for dinner as part of fireworks? tables get hard to find before fireworks

No, I was thinking about more like a late lunch. Just throwing ideas around, but didn't want to bring the whole family and then find out there is only 3 tables and all are occupied. I realize there could be 20 tables, and we could still find them occupied, but one can't plan for everything.
