I just used the room only code from Mousesavers to reduce my 4 night stay by about $64.

I had to move from the YC to the BW, and it does not apply to Fri or Sat nights. The weekday rate is $249 (vs. $285 for AAA) and $335 for Friday. I can get the AAA rate for Friday if I split the reservation.

Any advice on potential hassles involved with a split reservation at the same resort? Do you get to stay in the same room?

I'd like to know the answer to this, too. The OZI code would work for 2 nights of my stay, and Friday and Saturday I would like to use my AAA discount. So, I would need 2 separate ressies, but I'm a little scared to cancel my existing ressie and go with 2 new ones without knowing how much of a hassle it will be (like having to change rooms).

I had a balance of 92.66 for our Feb 11-16 stay. The new code saved us74.88 leaving the balance at 18.08. Every little bit helps.

I called to split my reservation and saved an additional $57 by changing the Friday night to a AAA rate. The CM said that it is unlikely that we will be asked to change rooms, but it is not guaranteed. Mentioing the split reservation on check-in and having our AAA card with us are important tasks to remember.
