Oysters???

What's the best place in the World to get oysters on the half shell? Any insight on any raw bars would be great, thank you!

But beware. If you are an "old timer" like me and remember the days when a Chesapeake Bay Oyster WAS an oyster--what they have now pales in comparison. Tiny little things usually--if they were crabs they would have to throw them back.
Which is why I never order oysters of any kind in ANY restaurant.

We can't get oysters where I live so I have to get the tiny ones there. I'm an old timer like Uncleromulus so I have to ignore the ridiculous price for those little things and just enjoy them.

So you would not order a Wellfleet if you were dining in Cape Cod,? Or a Raspberry Point or Malpeque in Maine or PEI?
