Owning at more than one place ?

Below is my question within an example.

We currently own 150 points at SSR.
I'm looking to buy 50 - 60 points through resale to the BCV or BWV.

Let's say I want to book a trip at BCV/BWV with my one contract and I have 50 points, but the trip is going to cost me 56 points, can I borrow 6 points from my SSR contract to complete the transaction????

The 11 month reservation can only be made using points from that home resort. Within 7 months you may combine points from multiple resorts.

Owning at more than one resort does provide the 11 month priority, but only using points for the resort you want to book 11 months ahead. Owning a small number of points at a resort can work nicely, when using banking and borrowing, but otherwise the points will have to be used only within 7 months.

You will not be able to use the points at the non-home resort until the 7 month mark. So if your reservation needs more than the 50 points, then you would not be able to make the reservation until the 7 month mark, when you would have access to all your points form all your contracts.
