Owners Lounge at EPCOT

Capacity is more limited than before and a CM will usher you to available seating. No snacks currently, but drinks are still available (CM pours beverage).

I was there at the beginning of October, there was a cm getting the drinks at the machine and also passed out animal cookies.

We were there about a week ago and as mentioned, the seat you and have someone handing out the drinks from behind a table. We were not offered any cookies.

I would assume no snacks (like chips) as well?
there were no food items when we were there the week of Oct 12-17. Just drinks - you keep your mask on and walk over to the CM dispensing drinks and you can remove your mask while you're seated.

Seats were distanced and some had charging stations but our 2 seater did not..

Do only direct members have access or can resale members access as well? Sorry- potential new member waiting on ROFR and didn't know there was a lounge. Thank you.

It's a "blue card" benefit, so resale-only owners do not have access, unless they bought prior to the Membership Extras restrictions being put in place and are grandfathered in.

A bummer, but when you factor in the cost savings with resale, it is one heck of an expensive lounge.

To add what has been posted, a resale owner can become a blue card member by adding on qualified points bought from DVD later.

Current minimum is 125. So, while your resale points won’t count to get you access, if you wanted it, along with any of the other membership extras, like AP discount, etc, there would be a way.

But, as mentioned, it certainly would not be worth it to buy direct simply for access since they can close it at any time.

Makes sense, thank you both for your responses. I assumed it was for blue card only, doesn't seem to be any additional benefits for white cards, but its all good as you stated the savings going resale makes it completely worth it!

We were there Oct 11-18 and the lounge was open. They assign you a seat, and a CM will pour your beverage. No snacks :(

Side note, yet related...is the BLT lounge open? If so, can I go there as someone who has rented points or must I be an owner?

The lounge sound an awful lot like flying economy without the benefit of going somewhere.

Shhhhhhh...you're ruining all my fun!! :p

When people ask me what goes on up there I tell all sorts of great stories about the free open bar, free Victoria and Albert's catering, Characters, etc...
