Owner's Locker and over-the-door organizers

Question for all you Owner's Locker members. I'm starting to get things packed to send down for my Owner's Locker but I want to know if you use the over-the-door shoe organizer in addition to the OL. I've read that al ot of people use those so I bought one and have it handing on a door but when I put my stuff (shampoo, conditioner, etc) in it, it seem like there is a lot of wasted space. I think I might be better using some plastic boxes and put bathroom items in one box, kitchen in another, etc. Any suggestions - please. TIA

Sorry - not really sure I understand your question? Do you mean leaving the items in the organizer to store them in the OL? I can't imagine that would be a good use of space.

I didn't think so, but I was mainly thinking about just using the over-the-door organizers.

Well, IME most of the resorts don't have a lot of storage space in the bathroom, particularly if you're using full-size toiletries that you store in your OL. So I would imagine the over-the-door organizer would be a good idea to free up counter space, even if they don't hold all that many items.

Don't put your items to store "in" anything. You'll get a lot more in the locker if you can pack each item separately. We have things like deoderant and face care items stuck in shoes etc. We fill every nook and cranny of that locker, and because the sides have some nooks in them, boxes will only waste space in the locker too. WE don't even use the dividers provided, because they take up too much room.

I've never had an issue with space for our stuff at the resorts, but then we are usually at OKW or AKV, and both have plenty of space to put things in the bathroom.

I don't think DVC members use those as much as the Value and Moderate guests do because those resorts are so much smaller than the villas.

Deb & Bill - That makes sense, the villa's are bigger.

I think I'll just forget the over-the-door organizer.
