own AK not staying there

no. the pools at AKV are only for those staying at AKV, regardless of where they own.

Pool hopping is based on where you are staying, not where you own. You must be staying at a DVC resort on points during a time when pool hopping is not blacked out in order to pool hop. And if you are not staying on a DVC reservation through MS, you can't pool hop. Even if you own at every single DVC resort.
