Anyone had any trouble fitting on rides? I have gained some weight since our last trip and was nervous if I would get on a ride and not fit?

Thanks!

I would go on allears dot net and there is a section for rides/attractions for persons of larger sizes. There are pictures of each of the ride seats and good information there. I am on that site almost as much as the DIS! Hope that helps!

My DH is a good sized man. Our last trip was three years ago and I don't remember any problems. Missionspace was a little tight but thats the only one that comes to my mind. I hope there are others out there who can help more. I seem to remember that a lot of the rides had bench style seating but keep in mind I'm also the same person who lost my car keys and never found them so my memory might not be the best. I can tell you that you are going to have a wonderful time. Good luck.

At my largest I was a size 28 and fit on everything I tried. Was there a specific ride you were concerned about? As a side note - I am proud to say I am now a size 18!!! :thumbsup2

My DW and I have not had trouble on rides but my DW has found 6 days in the parks from rope drop through Illuminations to be very hard on her feet especially after 3-4 days.
Consider wearing 2 pairs of clean socks with well broken in athletic shoes. This will provide extra cushioning of the feet.

My hubby is a fairly large pooh size and he did not complain of any prolblems except Mission Space was a bit of a squeeze.
:wave2:

I second the hard on the feet thing, When we went a few years back, I had gained ALOT of weight, close to wearing a 26 jean. And It was really hard on my feet. REALLY BAD. I was a wreck. But by this past trip (Dec.) I had lost the weight and down to my normal size 10. ( GO ME! ) lol And It wasn't as bad. And it's not like I trained for any marathons in the meantime. I tottally atribute that to the weight loss.
The rides were fine though, had no problem fitting in anything.
Go have fun and get some Dr. Sholes gell inserts for your sneakers.

Good for you. :cool1:

Both DH and I are "Pooh" sized and have had no trouble with individual rides. The only time we have had trouble is when they try to fit too many people into rides like Great Movie Ride. A bench should hold X many in their eyes but with some large size people that doesnt work. So if they are filling in the last of the cars beware.
