Does anyone know where I can find an overview of Universal's ticket prices and annual pass prices (and when they were raised) over the years? I'm trying to figure out the best time to buy an annual pass.

They generally raise prices in May, last year was May 17th.I would expect the same this year

I've had my AP since 2004 and I think paid something like $145.00 for it then but the renewals were $99/year until HP came along. Renewals are running around $171/year for the Preferred AP. All I can tell you is...if you have the money and can buy one now...DO IT! Once Diagon Alley opens tickets are going to increase again and not by a little...I have a feeling. :headache:

agree..I already bought our tickets for December.I think prices are going to jump quite a bit

Does the price of Express go up as well as the base ticket prices? I was planning on adding on Express to our tickets.
Thanks!

I agree my family and I are going in Oct for HHN and we bought our tickets already we have 1 Ap and the rest 4 day PTP passes. All we have to do now is wait for the HHN tickets and we are set.

Not sure, I suppose it is possible..But in general express pass prices always go up with the projected crowds, but it is possible once the HP expansion opens that the starting prices of the EP may go up.

I think they're going to go up as well.

If I buy a pass now but can't use it until April, when does the clock begin ticking? When I first buy it, or when I first use it?

Do the tickets or AP have expiry dates? We're not going until January 2015 so I'm wondering if I can buy them now.

The clock doesn't start ticking until it's activated at the gates...not when you purchase.

APs are good for a year from activation...not purchase. Ticket specials sometimes have expiration dates...read the fine print carefully.
