love love love overstock! i usually buy my mil's xmas presents through them (at considerable savings). i've never had to return anything though.

I love overstock! I have ordered from them for years. I once ordered a VCR tape (I told you I have been ordering from them a long time!) and when I got the envelope it was empty. One phone call and I had the tape in a couple of days.


Last year I bought a King Size bed from them. I was able to get the whole bed shipped for what most places wanted for just the frame. It came in two boxes in less than a week in perfect conditon!

I have ordered books, movies, and CD's from Overstock. Ordered a few things this year for Christmas as well. Never had to return anything, though. I find their shipping a little slower than other places, but I've always received my items within the time frame they give.

Sounds like you're safe as long as you don't need to return anything!

I've ordered sheets and pillows from them and was VERY happy!

We love them! We've bought everything from books to furniture and had nothing but positive experiences. We have even returned something without a problem

I do want to add that their shipping is slower on books, movies and music because they use media mail which takes longer. Of course they only charge you about $1.40 to ship these items so its still a bargain.

So far I've ordered twice from them and they've beek ok but definitely not great. Shipping both times was very, very quick.

1st time, I ordered a CD, it was shipped in a cardboard mailer but no bubble wrap or paper around it and the case came cracked. Not a big deal since the CD was okay, but if they wrapped it a little better it probably wouldn't have cracked.

2nd order was 2 paperback books, both well packaged. One book had its spine crushed some at the top and bottom a little, not a big deal. Second book has markings on the front cover and part of the back cover is torn off. Not real happy about that, I was glad it was for me because if it had been a gift for someone, I definitely wouldn't have given it.

Unless something is a huge savings or I can't find it anywhere else, I doubt I'd order from them again.
