I am getting SO EXCITED for my trip 3/31-4/4. I have been reading these boards and I am starting to get nervous about crowds during out trip. I currently have a room booked at Embassy Suites South( we are a party of 6, 3 adults, 3 kids). I ALSO am holding a room at the Desert inn and suites. We have a car, but we will try ART and don't mind paying for taxi's...I keep going back and forth on which property to stay at!! I like the location of the Desert inn and Suites, but I am a ***sun*** lover and I don't want to do the -indoor- pool. Also, Embassy has a better breakfast. I am just afraid we will get there and wish we stayed across the street! Don't know what to do...HELP!!!!!

We've stayed at the Desert Inn & Suites, the location is super!!! The breakfast & pool, not so much to brag about. The one advantage of the Desert Inn is they have a rooftop viewing of the fireworks, so if one night you wanted to leave the park early, you could enjoy the show from your motel. (you can't hear the music, but the fireworks are pretty)

I don't know anything about your other motel choice. We have used the ART & will never do it again. (very long story, but overcrowded to the point of dangerous, never getting picked up at motel, rude driver, etc).

You just need to list everything out....all the pros & which ever list is longer should help you make your decision.

Have fun with the rest of your planning & I hope you have a magical trip!! :wizard:

We stayed at Embassy (there are 2 and I'm not sure if we stayed at North or South but they seem to be about the same) and we were pleased. The rooms weren't anything special but were clean. The breakfast was awesome... Made to order omlets and french toast. We would fill up on a big breakfast and then just snack until dinner which saved money. My daughter and step dad also really enjoyed the koi ponds. The staff was pleasant.

Thank you for the replies...there is not too much info on Embassy Suites South on here...I will be sure to post a trip report when I get back!
