Hi all,
We are planning a trip to my Happy Place at the end of February for a week.
We've reserved one suite for 8 people.
We are driving, and unfortunately must take 2 vehicles.
The Desert Inn & Suites specifies that we can only have one vehicle.
Does anyone know where we can park the second vehicle for the week?
We are having one day at Universal, and would need both cars for that day, but the vehicle would just sit the rest of the time.
Does not have to be free parking, but I am having trouble finding secure overnight parking for that long period of time.
Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks.

The parking lot behind the Marriott suites and Wyndham is free. i.e. no parking passes needed so you could drop it there. we've done it before with no issue. There is also a free shuttle from the Wyndham to the park.

Whatever you do, I would be very careful about where you park. Parking is at a premium in the resort area and the hotel lots often keep a watch to see if if people are just leaving their cars and not actually staying at the resort. All of those businesses in the area won't hesitate to tow you.

I recommend finding a street in one of the neighborhoods around the park. The area off Ball Rd/Walnut near the entrance to the parking structure is pretty safe. I'd also see if the Desert Inn will accommodate you if at all possible...

Thanks to all! I did ask at the motel, and they were fine with us having two cars.
I must admit, it sure eased my mind to see the posts shared here!

I think you are confusing free with taking advantage. Shuttle at Wyndham is supposed to be Wyndham guests, paid in their resort fee.

If you want secure, go drop it in SNA Airport economy parking. $14/day and 15 min from the resort area.
