Overlapping Reservations?

Can you have overlapping reservations? For example, 8/1 - 8/8 at BLT and 8/7 - 8/15 at BWV.
There would be 1 extra person on the BWV reservation And they want to check in there 8/7.

The answer is...maybe.

My brother just texted me on Wednesday because I have him booked in a studio for 10/24-10/29. He has a reservation for a grand villa from 10/28-11/06. He can’t link his GV reservation because it overlaps with the studio. But his is the lead name on both reservations. I have to drop that night before he can link his reservation.

But last year, same brother was concurrently on both a GV reservation where I was the lead name and in a hotel room where his was the lead name. It was a giant cluster where he had to constantly get his MagicBand reset because it wouldn’t open his hotel door. Never again.

I have found that with overlapping ones, it works as long as the lead guest is different,

When we went a few years ago, I booked an extra night for my DS and DDIL at VGF while we moved from BWV to BRV.

When they got to VGF, they just checked them out of BWV and into VGF. When I checked in to BRV, the CM just unchecked their names for that night and then the next day, checked them back in.

thanks for advice everyone. I will make them lead guest on BWV.
i was mainly worried that when I start making BWV reservation that my BLT reservation might get deleted since I was booking overlapping days.
