overlapping reservations question

My husband and I will be staying on points at the Yacht Club for 9 nights in October. We have 41 points that will expire in November if we do not use them. They are borrowed points so I cannot bank or transfer.

We are considering booking 1-2 nights in a 1 BR villa during our trip (to use up the points and be able to so some laundry, etc.).

Has anyone ever done this? We are concerned that they may cancel one of our stays if they notice duplicate dates.

It's going to be difficult to get a room at BWV or BCV at this point, I assume that's what you are looking for.

Thanks for your reply. We actually aren't really picky about which resort -we were thinking VWL, AK or even SS or OKW since we are golfing quite a bit.

If the reservation at the yacht club is in your husband's name put the DVC one in your name and there should be no trouble.
