I was in the restroom when another woman came in and by the sounds:rolleyes1 I'm fairly confident she was sitting on the toilet when her phone rang.

She answered it, had a brief conversation and then started rattling off her Visa card number! She continued on to give the expiration date and the 3 digit code on the back.

She had to know she wasn't alone because I was using the sink. And she wasn't even using what I would call an inside voice either, she was nice and loud, very clear. Had I been a criminal .... :rolleyes1

It always amazes me when someone is using their cell in the restroom ( while doing their business).. but to give out your credit card info too! Wow! Just wow!!:lmao:

maybe she didn't care because she had just lifted it from an unknowingly customer and she was talking to her accomplice with the information for a online purchase. When done just toss the wallet and card and leave.

as far as the cc info----the criminal would have had to be expecting her to say the number out loud, in a bathroom, at target and be ready with a pen and paper, a recorder or have on heck of a memory too and while the woman wasn't to bright repeating that info in public, the chance that someone was expecting it, and was ready to commit the number to either memory, or some tangible thing such as paper would have been pretty slim I remember all of mine cc numbers, exp dates and securuty codes, as well as phone numbers, pins---I have this weird ability to remember long digit spans

maybe living in South Florida nothing is impossible. There are women usually 2that follow people around the store, one strikes up a conversation and distracts while the other reaches into their purse and takes the wallet. That is why I said she could have been giving this info to another third party and YES that person would be waiting for a phone call with a pen and paper this is called team work.

Even though it seems odd to me as well, since you brought it up, I cannot really think of any reason why it would be "ewww" to be talking on a phone while on the toilet.

If it's not a TV phone, I don't see the problem really. I know this is slightly off topic since the real issue is loudly broadcasting the card number and related information.

I know it's kind of traditional to maintain silence whilst doing the bathroom deed, I'm not sure why! Can anyone enlighten me?:confused3

Hey guys, it's Christmas. Perhaps someone called her with an item she had been really trying to find. Don't be a hater.

Some lady once told me that it was rude to flush the toilet when someone is on the phone. I always thought it was rude not to flush.

If you are in a public restroom on your phone, chances are someone is going to flush.

You should have said "Sorry, I didn't get that, can you repeat those last 4 numbers?"

2 ladies at work talk on the phone constantly while on the phone. I think it is so rude...I never want to hear a toilet flushing when I am on the phone with someone. Eeeewww!!!!

Remind me not to call you. I think its rude to be sharing your bathroom moment with a stranger on the other end of your phone. I happen to like my privacy in the bathroom, I couldn't imagine making it a social event.

Just don't toss IN to the toilet. :upsidedow

I am really not interested in hearing your bathroom noises over the phone.

Or shout out, "Thanks, now I can up my Christmas shopping list..." and bolt out the door.

Or mutter the 3 digit code over and over, while quickly going out the door.
