Overflowing garbage bin in front of the American pavilion

It's another communication channel. Do you really think Disney will intentionally ignore this issue out of spite, just because I posted about it?

I can just imagine the conversation they are having about this:

"How dare they post a photo of one of our overflowing garbage cans online?"

"Yeah, we need to teach those annoying guests a lesson. Let's cut the Custodial Budget in half just to show them what happens when they mess with us!" :hyper:

"Brilliant idea! And then we'll send them to Legoland the next time they try to enter the park..."
Do you really think posting here is getting to Disneys ear? Your actions do look as if you wanted to stir the pot sns gather attention for you rather than find a way to remedy the situation. Or do any good at all

A pattern is not made by a single incident.
True. We documented and reported what we actually saw at a particular place and time.

We did not attempt to conduct a through review of the state of the various trash cans throughout the park over the course of that day. And I'm not in a position to do so.

The folks that know how many people were assigned to custodial that day, and how many should have been assigned based on the park attendance, are my intended audience. I don't expect to hear back from them. Obviously, nobody at Disney with any authority or insight is going to respond to this thread, but hopefully the fact that it has been kept alive for 3 pages (so far) means someone in that group is aware of it. And that's really all I am concerned with.

In my opinion the lowering of standards (cleanliness, customer service etc) is by design. It’s cheaper and most people don’t seem to care anymore as evidenced by many comments on this thread.

^^^ This!!! Exactly!

While I’m not saying things are declining at Disney in general I am saying one full trash can is not the sign that things have gone to hell in a hand basket. It’s our bad timing on your part. A pattern is not made by a single incident. I’ll knock them when they deserve it. A single full trash can doesn’t make that list
That's true. We all know the real proof of Disney's decline is the shocking absence of free roaming snakes at AK 🐍

Who said they didn’t care they can was full? Pointing out that posting here about it is a waste of time does not mean folks don’t care

cause for whatever the OP thinks, no one with Disney that can do anything about it is reading her thread here. But shhhh, let her think that

Yes, I do. You are not my intended audience. But, by helping keep this thread alive, you help increase the likelihood that someone at Disney will become aware of it. So, thank you for your service.
Pretty sure your “intended audience” is not reading this thread 🙄

How do you know that? Do you, personally, know anyone at Disney that can do anything about it? I have kept in touch with a former coworker that now works in data analysis at Disney. He is very knowledgeable about what gets posted about the parks in social media, and I doubt he's the only one there who is.
