I asked SOG this very question about 6 weeks ago and she said the overflow rates are 20% off rack......and said you can do better with an AP or military discount.
So, we got the military discount for SSR and combined it with the AP rate (due to blackout dates for Pop Warner, grrrr) and they are about the same.
In 2002, Disney offered the awesome free 5 day ticket for the active duty and $99 for family member, along with 40% room discounts...we went twice that year!! Wish they had those tickets again.
We get our tickets at the SOG BX, because ITT will not mail them out of the US (and we're in Germany). Plus, ITT charges a $12 handling fee (for the Fed Ex they use to send it to you) and it just ends up being easie and making more sense to get them our first day at SOG.
