~arrived early and had to call later for our room numbers. When we got the the rooms (we had two rooms), the first was fine... we opened the door to the second and there were people in it!! Well to make a long story short, there were no more rooms so we got upgraded to Poly! The kids were dissapointed

blondemom said:This happened to me years ago. We booked our honeymoon trip to the Grand Floridian. We got a call about two weeks before stating that they overbooked, and would we mind moving to the Old Key West Resort? This would be our first trip to WDW, and we didn't know the difference. Because they made a mistake, and it was our honeymoon, they refunded ALL of our money. We ended up paying for nothing! We faxed our bill to them, which included airfare, food (at the time, they had the food and fun plan), tickets, and accommodations. They refunded the entire bill! So, I had a free honeymoon!!! I was obviously thrilled. I loved the Key West Resorts, but would have stayed anywhere since I didn't pay!

I sat in the car wondering what was going on, and DH comes out and tells me that we're headed to the AKL. We got pool view standard for two nights at $49 night, FL resident rate. Can't beat that.
