Good Lord have mercy! 6 to 7 Diet Cokes a day. No wonder you're always on the lookout for a potty! You know I'm just kidding ya!
Hey you are very right. I can't stand to go very long without having a diet Coke in my hand

I think I'll blame all my troubles on the ghosts that inhabit this office we are in. For those of you who didn't read my Stop Making Me Laugh trip report, our law office is located in part of the downstars of what used to be an old hotel. All of the upstairs is vacant but is home to what I believe are ghosts.
There's always something missing or something put somewhere that I know good and well it wasn't before. I often smell cigarette smoke and there's nobody here but my boss and I. Neither one of us smoke.
We have doors that open and close or lock and unlock by themselves. We have a door that separates our office from a semi-empty suite next door. My boss' parents two cats have free reign over that suite and sometimes, even when the connecting door is locked, we find that the cats have made their way over to our office through an open door that was previously closed and locked.
Just the other day, I actually heard somebody mumble over my shoulder "hey you". I thought maybe somebody had come in the front door and I hadn't heard them. But, there was nobody here but me. The boss wasn't even here.
I haven't gotten scared too badly yet since the ghost(s) haven't done anything to me personally. I think the only time I really got spooked was when my boss' chair started turning all by itself. Nobody in his office but me and I was standing at the fax machine. That kinda took my breath away..
Those darn ghosts still won't leave you alone?

While Mama and I were in town, John and Hunter worked in the yard. Spring has sprung big time at our house! Everything is green or maybe I should say green and yellow. Pollen yellow! When I say everything is yellow I mean everything.....the bbq grill, our porch swing, our bench, the cars, just everything. All of us have been sniffing and snotting for about a week now.
Everything around here is yellow too. We have all been snotting and sniffing, we sound like pigs snorting

John and I wanted to go out and eat. Hunter wanted to stay with his Mamaw so he wouldn't miss the Kids' Choice Awards. Priorities you know. John and I went to Applebee's. We hadn't been there is over a year. We ordered their new appetizer trio plate and it was soooo good. The wonton tacos are to die for. After we ate, we did what other kidless parents do......we went to Sam's Club, the Dollar Tree and Wal-Mart. Are we partiers or what?
I love Applebee's. We haven't been there in a while though. Oh yeah, we have those sweet date nights too. If I get lucky, sometimes we go to the Mall

We are thinking about heading to Canton, Texas this Friday. They have a hummmmmmmmongous flea market there. You could easily spend at least three days there and not see it all. I've got Spring Fever really bad and feel the need to go somewhere. Since I can't go to Disney, I guess Canton is the next best thing. It's a long drive from here....several hours but I need to get out of the house. Housework can wait!
A friend of mine went to that flee market several years ago and she talked about how bit it is.
We actually thought about making the 9 hour drive to see Lacey over the three day weekend. But, she is in Tennessee until sometime Friday. They have practice on Saturday for a drama they are doing Easter Sunday at church. Meaning, we would only have a few hours to see her before we would have to head home Sunday after church. Guess I'll have to wait until she comes home in May to see my baby.
Did I tell ya'll that her Mission students and the people at church have given her the nickname "Flutter" to go along with her fluttering heart?
I know you miss Lacey like crazy. I feel so blessed that Amanda stayed at home to go to school. She had scholarship offers from as far away a USC and UCLA

I love her new nickname

I almost forgot to mention that the homemade laundry detergent is working really well. Even though our water still stinks (literally, we have the worst darn water around here), our clothes don't. I even tried using it in our dishwasher and my dishes came out really clean. It's definitely a multi purpose detergent for sure.
I am going to have to try and make some. It would be great not to have to buy laundry or dishwasher detergent.
