Hello and Welcome!!

Thanks for stopping by my PTR.

First for the introductions:

I'm Angie and this is my fiancee, Drew

This picture was taken on our last trip in 2014.

This will be our 7th trip together, and our DISNEYMOON!! I am beyond excited and couldn't keep it all in anymore, so I am here :)

Where: Wilderness Lodge - we have never stayed anywhere else, though the construction makes me a little nervous.

When: September 30 - October 7th

Details: we are doing 8 day park hoppers, our longest trip yet!!
Memory maker - this is so worth the money for us!
Dining plan - we weren't able to get the free dining, but our TA was able to get us a great room discount which made it worth it!

I will be back to post some more details!

See ya real soon!

Relax, let us pull up a chair, as I proudly present our ADRs

As any true Disney fan knows, the ADR list is never perfect, but I am really happy with what we have so far!

Friday Sept 30 - Hoop Dee Doo Revue

I grabbed an 8:30, so we can do Category 1 seating. I am sooo excited for this one. It is a first for both of us, and perfect for our arrival day!

Saturday Oct 1 - The Wave

This is a must do for us on every trip, we discovered it probably 3 trips ago and it immediately became a favorite!

Sunday Oct 2 - Yak and Yeti

This is another new one for us, but after seeing pics of those nachos who could resist. It is a much earlier reservation than we are used to, 4 pm. I'm hoping that they expand the fall hours later once Rivers of Light opens and then I can make it later :)

Monday Oct 3 - Teppan Edo

Another favorite even though we frequent our local Hibachi, we just love the atmosphere and the view you can snag for Illuminations is priceless!

Tuesday Oct 4 - Nada!

Since we are doing HDDR we don't have enough dining credits for a dinner every night, but this works well because... FOOD AND WINEEE
We will spend the evening walking around the World, sampling as much as we can handle! This is also the night of Epcot EMH so we won't be in a hurry.

Wednesday Oct 5 - Ohana

We typically do two Ohana nights per trip, but I really wanted to try some new places this year, so I have only booked one night.
But, this is my future husband's birthday!

Thursday Oct 6 - Bongos

For our last night we will venture to Disney Springs for some delectable Cuban food and atmosphere. This was another that we added a few years ago and if Drew didn't get his skirt steak fix, there may be problems.

Well, that wraps up our ADRs as of now. A few are earlier or later than I would like so I will continue to stalk the site until it is all perfect, but who are we kidding they are going to change!

As previously anticipated, our ADRs have changed dramatically with my discovery of the Touring Plans Reservation Finder.

Guys, this thing is LIFE changing. I set it for some really hard to get ressies and I have been getting texts for 2 days.

The revisions are now as follows:

Friday - still hoop dee doo

Saturday Lunch - Be Our Guest

This was a standout for us last time and he asked that I try to get another lunch here and with the reservation finder, I did!

Saturday - California Grill

This is one I have ALWAYS wanted to try, but I didn't think Drew would want to use 2 table service credits, but this was HIS idea! We have a 9:25 which is super late for dinner, but perfect for Wishes!!

Sunday - still Yak and Yeti

Does anyone have the Landry card? This will now be OOP due to Cali Grill (worth it!!) but I was doing some looking at it seems the Landry's card may be the way to go. His bday is in October so we would also get that reward.

Monday - BE OUR GUEST DINNER!!

This is one I have wanted to do from before they opened. BATB is my favorite movie and while I like the lunch options, I can't wait to experience the restaurant without the food court feel. And meet the Beast!!

Tuesday - Still F&W

Wednesday - Still Ohana

Thursday - Now our Teppan Edo, which I am not above canceling if something else comes along.

Drew isn't thrilled about not getting to Bongos, so we may swap Teppan Edo out for Bongos.

So, this is where we stand with our dining at the moment. Any input on the Landry's thing will be helpful and greatly appreciated!

The other question I had, has anyone had any luck requesting a specific room or area at Wilderness Lodge. I was looking through Touring Plans and for our room type there are some breathtaking views that I would love to book.

They gave the specifics that you should give Disney to request that room, but they didn't say how to give that info.
