Over the Door Shoe Holders

it's been a few years since we cruised...are over the door shoe holders still permitted? If so, do they need to be affixed with suction cups vs. metal hooks? Looked for this topic, but didn't see any info. Thanks!

I don't think you can put them over the door as it causes paint chipping. But a lot of people hand them on a hook that is next to the bathroom.

Nope, no more hanging them on the door, as they damage the paint. I took a couple of large suction cup hooks from the craft store and used them to hang my OTDSH from the connecting door in our room - worked great. I've also heard some hang it in the closet.
